Your homeowner manual will detail Highland’s policies and procedures in every stage of your home buying process, from applying for a loan, to selecting your home, through construction and closing.
The manual also includes instructions on caring for your home. Maintenance instructions and tips for caring for your appliances, fixtures, carpet and tile, windows, electrical work, plumbing, insulation, exterior finish, condensation, landscaping, drainage, even expansion and contraction, are all part of your homeowners manual.
You’ll also have a place to record all your product-specific warranty information for your appliances, such as oven, refrigerator, washer and dryer, etc. Phone numbers for utilities and community services—numbers for local providers of gas, electricity, telephone service, water, sewer service, recycling pickup, cable TV and the number for your local post office—are all included in your manual as well.
